INARF DSP Series Webinar: The What, Why, and How of Incident Reports
August 19, 2021

Donna Blair, Regional Quality Assurance Manager, Indiana MENTOR

You work in a field that provides its own set of risks compounded by an ever-evolving workforce. Incident Reporting is a vital staff and provider responsibility. Are you providing the correct and complete information for others to develop appropriate plans for an individual? Whether you are writing an Incident Report or a Behavior Summary, making sure your message is clear and precise is important.

 Attendees will better understand:

  1. WHAT an Incident Report is.
  2. Understand WHY an Incident Report is important for the individual you serve and you.
  3. Understand HOW to write a report that will help teams develop better plans.

About the Presenter:
Donna Blair
has been working in the Developmental Disabilities field for 40 years. She has worked as a QIPD, an Administrator and during the past 15 years as a Quality Improvement Specialist completing and training on investigations. Donna is prepared to share her experiences, training, success, and failures with investigations.

This webinar is part of the INARF DSP Series and is designed to provide additional professional development directly to DSPs. This webinar is brought to our members as part of INARF’s commitment to raising the bar of service delivery throughout Indiana for DSPs.
