INARF ON-LINE, Conference for DSPs - Evansville Edition: April 23, 2019 INARF DSP Series Continues in Evansville On April 16, the Conference for DSPs – Evansville was hosted as part of the INARF DSP Series. This one day Conference was the second installment of this agenda including an interactive and engaging Keynote presentation on Wow, You Do What? by The Impact Group. The Keynote was centered on ensuring that those in attendance recognize how their skills and dedication toward the individuals they serve are truly valuable. The Keynote address was followed by concurrent breakout sessions: Effective Communication by The Impact Group and Low Cost Technology to Enhance Lives by Josh Anderson, INDATA. Mid-day attendees were treated to a pasta buffet networking lunch where they were encouraged to become acquainted with one another. Following lunch, attendees had an option between two additional concurrent breakout sessions. Donna Blair, Indiana MENTOR, educated our DSPs on Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation, while Dr. Chuck Dietzen, Timmy Global Health, presented on Life Itself is a Death-Defying Act: Dignity of Risk. Finally, all participants were brought together for an inspiring closing session by Dr. Chuck on The Mission of a DSP.
