As a result of INARF’s advocacy efforts to obtain fiscal relief for residential providers and our partnership with DDRS, BDDS has announced a grant opportunity for providers of specified waiver residential services and providers operating group homes (ICF/IIDs). The application for the grant opportunity is available here, the BDDS webinar recording is available here and additional grant opportunity resources are attached. The funding opportunity is intended to reimburse eligible providers for certain COVID-related expenses incurred during the period from March 1, 2020 through December 30, 2020. The total amount of the grant will be capped at 4.2% of Medicaid claims processed for the period from March 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019 for the following services: a. Residential Habilitation and Support Hourly b. Residential Habilitation and Support Daily c. Respite d. Participant Assistance and Care e. Structured Family Caregiving f. Transportation g. Wellness Coordination h. Workplace Assistance i. Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities The grant application opens today and will be open through November 30, 2020.
