QUESTION: Does anyone have a policy or procedure for going-away parties for resigning (not retiring) staff? No policy or procedure however if a long term employee leaves the agency, most departments will do some sort of “good luck” send off for the employee. We don't have a policy but depending on who the employee is and tenure, we may just do a group lunch or dinner...but never of agency dollars.
