QUESTION: Do any other agencies use The Mandt System for behavior support training? If so, would you share your policy regarding behavior support/management? We use Mandt training and our policy is that the restraint portion cannot be used unless it is in the client’s Behavior Support Plan written by their Behavior Clinician, but the first part of Mandt (the hands-off portion) is used every day.” We utilize/work with several different Behavior Specialists who utilize multiple methods.
