QUESTION: Our organization is considering changing our training used for aggression management. Would other agencies be willing to share what type of training used for the aggression management that is required? Are you using outside vendors, developing your own systems, etc.? We use CRT, crisis restraint training. They are one man holds therefore more appropriate for our waiver settings. Training time is less than CPI as well. We have used it for the last four years and have been very happy with it. *** We currently combine an internal training with the CPI coursework. We have an internal trainer. We have also utilized MANDT over the past 12 years and retained our own trainer for this system.
