INARF has received the following message from Myers and Stauffer regarding the change in timing for providing the management representation letter. I wanted you to be aware of the new announcement (below) we have posted to our website concerning the management representation letters (also below) that have historically been requested at the time of cost report submission for our rate setting requests. Beginning with the June 30, 2023 Medicaid Cost Reports, these management representation letters will now be requested at the time our rate setting final review has been completed rather than as part of the cost report submission. Accordingly, your members should be expecting to see requests from us in the near future for signed management representation letters relating to our June 30, 2023 Medicaid Cost Report reviews.
