One of the many exciting BDDS Innovative Pilot Projects is one on Support Through Technology, led by INARF Associate Member, StationMD. As this pilot project moves into the “How we will do it” phase of “working in conjunction with DDRS, we will identify agencies, individuals and areas of focus that will benefit from our project”, StationMD is looking to fill the remaining spots available to experience their services (at no cost). Their mission is to improve access and equity to medical care for individuals with IDD by: - Improving the quality of medical care for individuals with IDD - Providing a 24/7 medical resource to formal and informal caregivers - Reducing avoidable Emergency Department and urgent care visits and hospitalizations - Bringing specially trained clinicians to the individual employing a telehealth solution - Improving care coordination for individuals with IDD - Providing medical support and oversight to provider agencies and their staff - Identifying complex cases that need more support and services This opportunity is limited, and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
