DDRS Updates You are receiving this email because you have elected to receive Informational Notices from the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS). The Bureau of Disabilities Services (BDS) mission is “To connect people with disabilities and their families to resources and supports to live their best life.” Through the mortality review process, BDS has identified a pattern of deaths that had aspiration as a contributing factor. In response, BDS has developed new fact sheets: Aspiration FAQs, Aspiration Pneumonia, Dysphagia, and G-Tube Considerations.
