The long-awaited RFP for a managed care program focused on LTSS was released by the Family and Social Services Administration (via the Indiana Department of Administration) on July 1, 2022. Consistent with messaging to INARF and other organizations in the run up to the RFP release, the program will serve Medicaid enrollees who are 60 years of age and older and are eligible for Medicaid on the basis of age, blindness, or disability and have limited income and resources. All individuals who are 60 years of age or older in the target eligibility categories will be included unless they meet an exclusion. As expected, exclusions include DDRS Waiver Recipients, anyone under 60 years of age on the A&D waiver, and ICF/IDD residents. To assist our members in understanding the RFP and its contents, INARF has prepared a memo that provides a summary of key RFP elements (INARF LTSS RFP Summary). INARF will continue to monitor the RFP process and keep our members informed of any significant updates via email and the July Member Forum. If members have questions on the INARF LTSS RFP Summary or the Q&A developed by FSSA, please reach out to John Barth or any member of the INARF policy team.
