INARF DSP Series Webinar: Removing Toxicity in the Workplace
May 25, 2022

Tony Thomas, LISW-S, ACSW

This webinar addressed how toxicity can be detrimental to the “workplace” whether it is an office, residential, or community setting.  When it exists, it can lead to turnover and job abandonment.

Learn what you can do to identify, address, and combat high levels of toxicity for a more productive “workplace” and to aid in your retention efforts.

Attendees will learn:

  1. How to address toxicity quickly and use an assessment tool to give you feedback.
  2. Three-to-four personal enhancement tools that will help you address toxicity.
  3. Three functional approaches that you can use as an individual to remove toxicity.
  4. Three functional approaches that your agency can and should use to remove toxicity.

Handouts:
- Scoring Grid Toxic Culture Scale
- Toxic Culture Survey
