This morning, IDOH announced that any Hoosier age 65 and older is now eligible to schedule a vaccination appointment through www.ourshot.in.gov. INARF reached out to DDRS to request clarification of how outreach to individuals in this age group who receive services through DDRS will be completed. DDRS shared that for individuals residing in congregate settings, the Case Management companies (CMCOs) will receive direction from BDDS requiring Case Managers to collaborate with residential providers to coordinate these individuals' vaccinations. Providers who have already scheduled or completed vaccinations for individuals residing in your congregate residential settings through www.ourshot.in.gov, the Federal Pharmacy Partnership, DDRS/IDOH initiatives, your local health department or hospital, etc. should inform CMCOs how individuals you support in this age group are accessing the vaccine as soon as possible. Information shared by residential providers will allow CMCOs to focus their outreach efforts on individuals in this age group who have not yet had access to the vaccine (e.g. individuals living alone or with their family) and coordinate with providers to support individuals to schedule appointments through www.ourshot.in.gov. INARF continues to actively work with DDRS to expand vaccine distribution plans for Hoosiers with I/DD receiving services through DDRS.
