QUESTION: Does your organization use any type of texting service to communicate (non-emergencies) with staff? If yes, which one? We use RAVE Alert for texting our employees concerning emergencies only, such as weather closings. You could use RAVE alert for all types of texting though. We do not utilize any type of texting to communicate non-emergencies with staff. The recruiting department utilizes Text Magic to communicate with newly hired employees. We communicate by personal phones or on Facebook Messenger for some staff. No, but we’ve looked into the Remind app. We do not, however, we would love to utilize a system such as this. We don’t at this time, but we are wanting to begin. If you have additional feedback, please email Heather Newman at heather@inarf.org and your response will be added to this post.
