QUESTION: What position is responsible for scheduling and maintaining the master schedule (of available and open shifts) at your organization? We utilize a Scheduling Manager (See job description). We utilize a position called a Program Director who is responsible for scheduling and maintaining master files. In some areas we have Admin Coordinators assisting with scheduling, but the ultimate responsibility lies with the Program Director. We have the program manager of each department maintaining open shifts. The manager/supervisor is in charge of scheduling. We use QIDP with the House Leaders. Each of our Coordinators/departments do their own scheduling. RHS, we have three scheduler staff (it’s not working). They’re pulled to pull shifts daily. We are currently working on revising this process. Group home, the house manager handles, with oversight of the Director as of 2/20/20 to monitor hours per my direction. Day Services, mgmt. staff. We have a scheduler position that coordinates all of the schedules. The managers and coordinators of the residential programs assist with openings.
