Our national partner ANCOR received correspondence from CMS responding to ANCOR's letter about challenges with EVV implementation. Attached here is ANCOR's original letter and the CMS response. Esmé Grant Grewal Esq., Vice President of Government Relations of ANCOR, shared: "Although we are thrilled that the EVV delay bill will soon be law (it's on the President's desk and will be signed any day now), we still have much work to do on this front. As you will read from their response, CMS does not feel it has the authority to restrict the broad application of the legislation nor do they feel required to issue a notice of public rulemaking. So we have a ways to go both with CMS and Congress. Your ANCOR GR staff is actively working on this and we'll reconvene during our August call to move forward!" We encourage members to join us for the Friday, July 27 Member Forum for additional updates regarding EVV implementation in Indiana.
