Brief History
- Taskforce to review three significant provider-related incidents affecting quality.
- Identified the need for a provider assistance program, which INARF’s Membership Development Committee inherited.
- System of Excellence (SoE) Workgroup was created.
- SoE Workgroup’s first meeting was held February 27, 2015.
- SoE Workgroup has been meeting bi-weekly since April.

System of Excellence Program
 - Purpose:
   - Create a resource repository 
   - Develop a process and mechanisms to evaluate resources for inclusion in the program

System of Excellence Program
The System of Excellence Program is a repository of Resources and Consultants to support in efforts for INARF members to improve and enhance quality services and supports.

Two Categories: Consultants and Resources
- Consultants are generally professionals engaged by an organization on a limited basis for purposes including, but not limited to, trainings, organizational assessments, program development, and similar activities.
- Resources are generally documents including, but not limited to policies, procedures, forms, and evaluations. 


Consultant Review Process
- Consultant Evaluation Form submitted
- Workgroup members review information provided in Consultant Evaluation Form.
- At the next Workgroup meeting, members vote to accept or not accept Consultant for program.
- Accepted Consultants are contacted to provide consent to be included in the program and posted on the webpage.
- Accepted Consultants who affirm their consent are posted to System of Excellence webpage.
- Submitters whose Consultants are not accepted or do not provide consent for inclusion will be notified.


Resource Review Process
- Resource and Resource Self-Evaluation Form submitted
- Resource and Resource Self-Evaluation Form are forwarded to two workgroup members for review.
- Two workgroup members complete Resource Evaluation Tool and submit completed Resource Evaluation Tool for review at the next workgroup meeting.
   - On the Resource Evaluation Tool, the two workgroup members indicate whether they recommend to accept or not accept the Resource for the program.
- Workgroup members review the submitted resource and the two completed Resource Evaluation Tool documents.
- Workgroup members vote to accept or not accept the Resource for the program.
- Accepted Resources are posted to System of Excellence webpage.
- Submitters whose resources are not accepted will be notified.

Chance to Win
- Each time your organization submits a Resource or Consultant, your organization is entered into a drawing.
- The deadline for submissions to be included in the drawing is February 1, 2016.
- INARF will draw two organization names.
- Each organization will win 3 free registrations to the DSPIN Conference ($90 total value)
